What’s the size of an iPhone App icon?
What’s the border radius of an iPad App icon?
These are questions I hear a lot. Let’s face it, between the iPhone, the iPhone with retina display, the iPad, the iPod touch and the iTunes App artwork, it’s hard to remember all the sizes and particularly the border radius of each one.
So without any further ado, here’s a Photoshop file I put together with all the mentioned icons. Grab it, it’s FREE and I hope it will make your life a little easier.

In case you’re wandering, these are the size and radius border for each icon:

iPhone: 57×57 – radius 9
iPhone & iPod Retina: 114×114 – radius 18
iPad: 72×72 – radius 11
iTunes: 512×512 – radius 80

This is very useful in case you’re planning on designing an icon where the artwork follows the rounded corners, but as you know, you need to export each icon as a square, the device will automatically crop out the corners.
Same goes for the glossy effect, you can enable or disable it, but definitely don’t include it in your icon artwork.
